This is a pretty good book, but the examples need to show step by step in picture what is taking place

The first snag I ran into was the quick start

It tells you to do an outline and use the lathe modifier

A book in the 'Dummies' series written for Studio Max is a bit strange

The 'Dummies' books are pretty much written for people who barely know how to turn on a computer (my mother, for instance)
