NOT for PC users
PC users beware. This book is written for Lightroom 2 on MAC computers, not PC's. For both PC and MAC users, I recommend Nathaniel Coalson's excellent book: Lightroom 2: Streamlining your Digital Photography Process. Coalson covers Lightroom 2 for both PC's and MAC's.

A Flash from Brash
I got Lightroom to help me keep track of my travel photos. I purchased a book by a famous photographer author and was so confused, I was going to give up on Lightroom. A friend suggested Lynette Kent's book. Ms. Kent gives so many clear and understandable explantations. She takes you through the import process step by step. Now I get it and I just love LIghtroom.

A great Visually Yourself book,simple and fun to read.Easy to understand and comprehend the many complex concepts,methods and techniques of Lightroom2. In my opinion,she could explain the hard concepts of Lightroom2 so detailed and easy in simple to understand terms. It was so much clearer than the top reknown Lightroom 2 authors. Lynette Kent walks you through step-by-step in a clear,visual,detailed manner explaining each exact aspect of the concept, method and technique. From the Library's orgainzation chapters ,the very detailed Develop Module to the final finishing of a slideshow,print or web gallery-each and every detail was clearly explained and easy to comprehend. I especially learned numerous new TIPS from the bottom of the page 'TIPS' section. Generally, Visually Teach Yourself books are designed for the beginner,but this book is excellent for both the beginner and excellent review or clarification source for the intermediate or above level. Thank you Lynette Kent for such an easy to understand book regarding a complex Lightroom2 software program.

imformative
Very imformative, would like a little more information about converting RAW images and distorting images, but I've learned alot from this book. It did take 2 weeks to get here, but it was shipping from across the country.
