Very Good Book
This Book contains very good concept of overall Database Concept as DBA. It is very easy to understand. The questions from the Assessment Exam, 2 Bouns Exams and the chapters Exam are very helpful that give you the actual exam environment practice.

I had passed my Exam with 96%. The questions from the real exam are little bit tricky. All you have to do is to understand the concept from the book thoroughly.

Overall comment,, This book is very good for you to perpare for the exam.

Decent for exam and reference
This is a decent book. Sometimes was a little hard to read through, but I managed to pass the exam with it and my previous knowledge. Make sure you check for errata on the website before doing anything else.

Its reasonable as a reference book too, but not as much so as true Oracle reference guides.

I have purchase this book after deep search for good oracle administration study guide. I think this book can provide a serious effort of preparing for the Oracle 10g OCA certification exam.

Mostly worthless
This book does not cover topics well enough to pass the exam. It might be useful as an addition to other materials or as a review for experienced DBAs, but it does NOT have the information you need to pass by itself.

After failing the OCA exam (after acing the books' 2 exams, thanks guys!) I smashed this book against a brick wall until it was nothing but torn pages fluttering in the breeze. The binding held up well through the first several smashings, and stomping the separated pieces produced an enjoyable tearing sound.

A pretty decent study guide
Getting Oracle certifications is not easy. The material is difficult and extensive not matter how you approach it. The Sybex study guide does a good job of presenting the material in an organized manner.
