User review
Another great book by New Riders
This is one good book on ASP.NET, I brought this book after buying and being impressed by the other new riders ASP.NET publication Debugging ASP.NET.

And I am glad to say, this is an action I definately do not regret.

User review
Great reference and intemediate guide to ASP.NET
This book, is in my opinion is great, it has been a long while since I have read a book, and actually learned a lot more than I bargined for.

For example, like most Classic ASP programmers, my security knowledge is passable, but after reading the security chapter in this book, I feel a lot more advanced in my knowledge, the same goes for the Globalization and Web Services chapters.

I am very happy with my purchase, and highly reccommend this book to anyone who needs a great ASP.NET reference

Great reference and learning material!
Not sure what to type, here, but here goes.
I found this book to be a very usefull reference and learning guide on ASP.NET.
This book has a more orthodox structure to it than most other books other books, it also seems to have been written by someone who knows the technology, rather than how to tell a tale, by this I mean that the author obviously has great knowledge and skill with ASP.NET, and this is passed onto the reader without a lot of fluff. (the book is quite direct in places)

So my final word on this book, is that if you need a great reference with solid (working source).

Get this book, you will not regret it.

I find this book to be relatively good
I must admit that whilst waiting for this book to be delivered, I almost concelled my order after seeing 2 bad reviews here, however, I am glad I did not cancel.

While the book does have some typographical errors, I have found it to be a very good reference, it has certainly helped me get a better understanding of ASP.NET, and to date is the only book I have found that covers Active directory, MSMQ and Localization (this is the reason I brought the book), however I must admit that I only have read a few ASP.NET books.

Anyway, I found this book to be a good one, and hope my review helps others trying to figure out which ASP.NET book to buy.

Atrocious grammar - hard to read
I purchased this book to fill out my .Net collection. This is (by far) one of the worst written/edited books I have ever read. The editor needs to take an English course. The content may be passable but if you are looking for anything more then a quick reference look elsewhere. Hopefully the great team at Apress will release their ASP.net book soon and fill the asp.net void.
