Great Book
This was the only book I used to study for the Exam along with the ISACA question database CD and a MISTI cram course. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to study for the exam. Well written, full of great information and it is a great resource to refer back to once in a while. I passed the exam in June 2009.

good review guide
I caveat this review with the fact that I haven't taken the exam yet.
This book along with CD (containing PDF version of book, flash cards and sample exams) seems complete. It goes through alot of detail and includes diagrams to help explain the concepts. I believe it will be the key resource in helping me pass the exam.

Wife failed the CISA
Well I didn't read it but my wife used this for her CISA and failed, Yes, Yes,,it may be her problem, but since her qualification is an MBA from a premier school and I noticed her study hard, I am going to blame the book.

the Best Book For CISA Exams
I just need to say that this book was one of the critical factors to pass my exam.
From my point of view, it is impossible to pass the exam without this book and the question bank (issued by ISACA).

Book does not cover all of the material on the exam - do not depend on it as your only CISA study guide
I purchased both this book and the official CISA study manual from ISACA for the Dec 2008 CISA exam. After taking (and fortunately passing) the exam, I can say without reservation that this book should NOT be used as your only study guide for the CISA exam. This book was well written, and a much easier read than the overpriced, oversized official manual. However, it fails in its primary goal as being a study guide for CISA, as it does not cover a significant portion of the material on the test. If you have the time and have already read the offical manual, this book can serve as a secondary resource, to provide a high level review of the exam topics, but that's about it. There's simply too much material for this book to cover everything, and I suspect the author is somewhat behind ISACA's frequent changes to the exam. (I noticed positive reviews from those who took the 2006 exam, perhaps this was a more complete guide at that time)
