Finally,,,,Help is here!
Very well done and understandable to use with a complicated software. Great step by step info and best practices to keep in mind. Highly recommended.

Not a Project Management Book
This book makes no mention of PMBOK or PMI. The book puts forth ideas that are poor project management practice. I would think an author of a project management book (even if it is about a particular software product) would be familiar with PM best practices.

I gave it 2 stars because some of the information on MS Project is interesting, but I really think the author should understand good project management before showing us how to use the tool.

Only book I could find covering Project Sever (EPM)
Over the years Marmel has always delivered a solid product on Microsoft Project. As far as I know, it is the only book on the market right now that has anything related to Project Server. Pretty amazing when you figure Project Server has been out for about 5 months. I see the QUE book on MS Project just came out, and I could be wrong but I didn't see any mention of Project Server in the table of contents. Seems everyone either missed the boat or is pretty late to market on this topic. As I see it, MS Project hasn't changed that much in 10 years so buying a book that doesn't address the enterprise doesn't make a lot of sense unless you are new to Microsoft Project. Great book!

Detailed and thorough
I bought this book mainly for new features in 2007 MS Project. The book is very detailed and serves well for experts and beginners alike. I am quite happy with my purchase. I still have to explore the software provided on the attached CD. One thing it did not come with is 2007 MS project trial software.

Last thought: I wish these came like audio books with flash presentation. They can be in the $200 price range
