However, the book advertises that you can download files, which I did, expecting the book to be somewhat interactive. There is absolutely no way to connect the downloaded files to the book. I sent an email to the author (as he directed/requested in the book) about five months ago asking for informaiton on how to do this and have never received an answer. so I guess, now that they have your money, they really do not care. I will buy n more books in this series or by this author (too bad I already had bought one!). User review Better Than All The Others This book has the best mix of features. At a few hundred pages in length, it covers numerous topics that will interest even the advanced users of Microsoft Word 2007. Each topic is kept to a manageable size, covered in 1 or 2 pages most of the time. An especially nice feature of this book is that it uses COLOR while still being very reasonably priced. In the year 2007 it is inexcusable for publishers to continue using only black and white or blue, black, and white. When was the last time you used a monochrome computer? Not in this decade or the last. So why bother with monochrome books? Readers who are interested in becoming certified with Word 2007 will enjoy this book. Each of the required Microsoft objectives is clearly identified with a small box, usually on the left hand page. As you prepare and review for the exam all you have to do is look for the pages with the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist box and then practice the information on these pages. User review I needed more detail than this format allows I like the format of this series, but it didn't provide enough detail for my needs. My three-star rating is not an indictment of the content, which is excellent. Rather, it's simply a caution to others that if you need lots of detail to get your Word 2007 documents out the door, this series may not be the best for you. However, if you're looking for an in-depth overview, this is a good book. I returned my copy to Amazon shortly after receiving it in February. Other books on Microsoft Word | |||||||||||
